The sequel to this summer's comedy blockbuster (and the second highest-earning R-rated comedy ever) starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms is set to start roduction in October 2010, which will put the film out in theaters nation-wide Memorial Day weekend 2011.Why almost two years from now???
Director Todd Phillips has signed a deal with WB and Legendary Pictures to direct a road trip comedy titled Due Date, starring The Hangover's Galifianakis. The film is the story of "an expectant dad and his unlikely travel companion (Galifianakis) [who] race cross-conuntry in hopes of making it home for the birth of his first child."
The Hangover 2 will have to wait!
